Dick Clark can’t get enough of SnackPAX, but wanted something more savory and gamey.
Warmups
The grass had a thick layer of frost as we started easy, running in place and doing leg stretches.
Then we jogged over to the stack of Coupons, and every grabbed a Block. We finished the warmups with:
- Arm Circles x10
- Imperial Walkers x10
- Stretches
Thang
Then it was time to eat. SnackPAX are bite-sized versions of the IronPAX workouts, so to add a savory flavor, we had Rabbit—better known as Murder Bunnies.
The Routine:
7 Burpee Block Jumps (BBJ)
#1: Murder Bunny 20yds
20 Squat-Thruster
Return to base, 7 Burpee Blocks
#2: Murder Bunny 40yds
40 Alternating block merkins
Return to base, 7 Burpee Blocks
#3: Murder Bunny 60yds
60 Curl Presses
Return to base, 7 Burpee Blocks
#4: Stay at base
80 Block Windshield Wipers
Finish with 7 Burpee Blocks
So in this digestible version of the IronPAX, we did a total of 35 Burpee Block Jump-overs and we murder-bunnied 120 yards, all in addition to the Squat-thrusters, Alternating Block Merkins, Curl Presses, and Windshield Wipers. Everybody got his fill.

In the dim light with frozen ground around us, we remembered that the first Murder Bunny workout was in warm September, with the grass a lush green and covered with dew, and the sun high in the sky by the end of the workout. Now, in the depths of the pandemic winter, it reminds us that better times will return, so we have to keep ourselves strong in the meantime, for each other, our families, and the community. Be the best men we can be!
