Ode to The Rising

Monday July 19

9 Pax (ScarU (Q), Risky Business, Mulligan, Thunder, Mountie, Brisket, Photo Finish, Aviator and Wing Man) join to pay tribute to our fantastic AO.

The Rising is the twelfth studio album by American recording artist Bruce Springsteen, released on July 30, 2002, on Columbia Records. In addition to being Springsteen’s first studio album in seven years, it was also his first with the E Street Band in 18 years.[1]Based in large part on Springsteen’s reflections during the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks, the album predominantly centers upon themes of relationship struggles, existential crisis and social uplift.

The Rising AO was started on April 13, 2019, by Dos Equis, Four Seasons, and WallE.  “The Rising” is rich in meaning to us:
1. We see the sun rise while we come in the gloom to workout.
2. Rising as defined by the F3 Lexicon: “The recognition of demonstrable Acceleration by an individual or Group.”
and
3. A nod to Bruce Springsteen, born and raised in Freehold, 25 miles east of our AO.
